By default, Pop Invoice automatically sets the invoice date to the day the PDF invoice is created.
If you’re a Pro user, you have the flexibility to override this default by entering your preferred date in an "Invoice Date" property within your Invoice database. If this property is left empty, Pop Invoice will default to setting the date as the PDF creation date.
To set this up, navigate to the centralised settings page in Pop Invoice, and select the property in your invoice database that you want to use for the invoice date. 📽️ Watch the video tutorial
The invoice due date is automatically calculated by Pop Invoice, based on the number of days you’ve specified in your invoice template. For instance, if you’ve set payment terms of 30 days, the due date will be 30 days after the invoice date.
Pro users can customise the due date by entering a specific date in an "Invoice Due Date" property within the invoice database.
To enable this, go to the centralised settings page in Pop Invoice and select the associated property from the Invoice database.
If you leave the property empty, Pop Invoice will calculate the due date using the standard method outlined above.
Note: If you’re using the Notion Invoice template that comes with Pop Invoice, these properties are already included in the database and pre-selected in the settings page
